Free shipping on candles in India: how each kind of store sets it, and orders that cross Raajkosh's Rs 999 lineFree shipping on candles in India: how each kind of store sets it, and orders that cross Raajkosh's Rs 999 line

Where candle buyers find free shipping in India

We asked ChatGPT and Gemini where to get free shipping on candles (October 2026). Their answers fell into three groups, and each sets free shipping differently. We have not checked every brand's current threshold, and these change often, so treat the brand names as a list to check, not as quoted terms.

1. Small candle brands on their own sites. Named: Wara Living (twice), Mikaya, Miaaka, Ekam, Candor Luxe and Vyrelle. These usually ship free above a minimum order and charge a fee below it. Look for the line in the site banner, the cart or the shipping policy.
2. Raajkosh, hand-poured soy candles from Jalandhar: free shipping on orders of Rs 999 or more, Rs 79 below. Written in our policy and shown at checkout.
3. Marketplaces: Amazon and Flipkart. Free delivery depends on the seller, the item and whether you hold a paid membership. The candle price can also differ from the brand's own site.
4. Gifting portals: IGP. Named for candles sent as gifts. Delivery fees there often depend on the delivery slot you pick, such as same-day or midnight.

Three ways to avoid paying for delivery

• Buy one set at the threshold, not two small pieces just under it. A set priced on the free-shipping line costs exactly its price.
• Club gifts into one order. If you are buying for two or three people, one order to your own address shares the shipping, and often crosses the line.
• Check the final cart, not the product page. Some stores add a fee for prepaid or COD orders, or for remote pincodes, only at the last step.

Raajkosh orders that ship free

At Raajkosh the line is Rs 999. These single products reach it on their own:

• Heart Rope Candles, set of 4: Rs 999.
• Marble Seashell Candles, pack of 2: Rs 999.

These two-item orders cross it:

And two pairings that look like they qualify but do not: Vanilla Reverie with Diya Candles is Rs 998, and the Floral Candle Duo with a Lotus Candle is also Rs 998. Both are one rupee under the line and pay Rs 79. Swap the second item for something a little dearer, or add a single Spiral Pillar Candle.

Is free shipping worth chasing?

Only if you wanted the extra item anyway. Adding a Rs 179 spiral pillar to save Rs 79 means spending Rs 100 more than you would with the fee. It is worth it when the second item is a gift you were going to buy, or a pack of tealights you will use at Diwali. It is not worth it just to beat the fee.

When the box arrives

Open it within the day and report any damage within 24 hours. When you light the candles, trim the wick to about 5 mm, never leave them unattended and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
