How do I place an order?

Add pieces to your bag and go to checkout. Checkout is run securely by Shopify, and the full price, shipping and any cash-on-delivery fee are shown before you place the order.

How do I track my order?

When your order is dispatched we send you the courier name and tracking number. You can also use the Track order page with your order number.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, free of charge until it is dispatched, with a full refund within 5–7 working days. Custom and personalised orders can be cancelled until we start making them.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours and usually arrive 2–7 days after dispatch, depending on the pincode.

Free on orders of ₹999 or more. Below that, a flat ₹79.

Can I send a gift straight to someone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enter their address at checkout. We do not put the price inside a gift parcel.

Do you offer cash on delivery?

Yes. A cash-on-delivery fee of ₹49 applies and is shown at checkout before you place the order. Please pay the courier the amount shown on your order.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Cash on delivery, UPI (manual confirmation) right now. Prepaid online payment (instant UPI, cards, net banking) through Razorpay is coming soon.

What happens if I refuse a cash-on-delivery parcel?

Please cancel before dispatch instead, free of charge. If cash-on-delivery parcels are refused without a valid reason, we may ask for prepayment on, or stop offering cash on delivery for, future orders.

Are prices inclusive of taxes?

Yes. The MRP shown is inclusive of all taxes, and the price you pay is our selling price, which may be lower than the MRP. There are no hidden charges.

Can I get a GST invoice?

Not yet. Our GST registration is in progress, so for now we cannot issue GST tax invoices. You will receive an order receipt.

What if my order arrives damaged or defective?

Tell us within 24 hours of delivery: send your order number with photos or an unboxing video to maharani@raajkosh.com or on WhatsApp. We will send a replacement or refund you in full.

Can I return something?

Yes, if you request it within 24 hours of delivery and the item is unused (candles never lit) and in its original packaging. Write to us first with your order number.

What cannot be returned?

Accepted Answer

Custom and personalised pieces, candles that have been lit, used items, items without their original packaging, and gift cards, unless they arrived damaged, defective or wrong.

How and when will I get my refund?

Accepted Answer

Within 5–7 working days after the refund is approved. Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by UPI or bank transfer; prepaid orders go back to the original payment method. We never ask for your OTP or PIN.

How do I burn my candle safely?

Accepted Answer

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and never fall asleep with one lit. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every use. Burn on a stable, heat-proof surface. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, curtains and anything flammable. Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Stop using the candle when about 1 cm of wax remains. Containers and holders get hot. Let them cool before touching or moving them.

How long should I burn it the first time?

Long enough for the melted wax to reach the edge of the container, usually 2–3 hours, but never more than 3–4 hours at a time. This helps it burn evenly.

Why does my candle look a little different from the photo?

Accepted Answer

Each candle is hand-poured in pure soy wax, so small differences in colour, surface and finish are natural. Soy wax can also show a light frosting; it does not affect how it burns.

Custom and personalised pieces cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective or wrong, because they are made for you.
