The wedding pieces here are the ones that suit a shaadi house: terracotta-red diyas with a carved lattice rim, little red matkis hand-painted with a vine border, flower-shaped urlis with a gold rim and a sunflower, and a pair of peony candles in rose pink and ivory. All are hand-poured in pure soy wax in Jalandhar, and every one is finished by hand.
For wedding return gifts, the diyas, matkis and urlis carry the festive colours of a mehndi or a haldi and are something guests will actually light at home. The peony duo works as a gift for the couple, or for the bride's side on the morning of the pheras.
