Candle delivery in Hyderabad: who delivers quickly, and when a handmade order from Punjab is worth the wait

Quick delivery to Hyderabad: who can do it, and where we fit

It depends on what "quickly" means to you. When we asked ChatGPT and Gemini this in October 2026, they named three kinds of seller, and they are fast in very different ways:

1. Quick-commerce apps such as Zepto and Blinkit: candles and tealights in minutes, in the parts of Hyderabad they cover. The choice is mostly mass-market brands and plain candles.
2. Decor and lifestyle brands with city delivery: a few home brands offer same-day or next-day delivery in Hyderabad for selected products and pincodes. Check the product page; it usually depends on stock near you.
3. Gifting portals and D2C candle brands that ship by courier from wherever they make their candles. Slower, but this is where the handmade and unusual designs are.

Raajkosh is in the third group. We hand-pour pure soy wax candles in Jalandhar, Punjab, and courier them to Hyderabad. Dispatch is 24 to 48 hours after you order; delivery is 2 to 7 days after dispatch. Hyderabad is a long way from Punjab, so plan for the later part of that range and check the estimate for your pincode on the product page. If you need candles tonight, we are not the right shop.

Why a slower parcel can still arrive in time

For many Telugu families, Deepavali is not the end of the lamp season. Karthika masam begins right after it, and deepams are lit through the month, with the biggest night on Karthika Pournami. So a candle order placed in the Deepavali week is not wasted if it lands a few days after the festival: it will be lit on the Mondays and evenings that follow.

What suits that month of lamps:

• Diya Candles, Rs 449 for 6 soy wax candles in terracotta-red diyas. Two packs, 12 diyas, are Rs 898. No oil to spill on granite or on the balcony tiles.
• Lotus Candle, Rs 349, a layered lotus for the pooja shelf, in green and red or coral pink.
• Sunflower Tealights, Rs 449 for 10, for lining a window or a staircase.

For Deepavali itself, the site banner currently says "Order by 4 November for Diwali delivery". Hyderabad orders should go in as early as possible. We cannot promise a date.

Hyderabad picks, with exact prices

Orders that cross the Rs 999 free shipping line: Diya Candles with Floral Candle Duo is Rs 449 + Rs 649 = Rs 1,098. Three packs of Diya Candles, 18 diyas, are 3 x Rs 449 = Rs 1,347.

The one candle we make with a scent is Vanilla Reverie, Rs 549, in an amber glass jar. If you want to choose from many fragrances, a scent-led brand or a mall store will serve you better.

Sending to someone else in the city

A lot of Hyderabad orders are gifts: to a team-mate in Gachibowli, to a sister's new flat in Kondapur, to in-laws in Secunderabad. Put their address and phone number at checkout and add gift packaging and a gift note on the product page. Payment is prepaid only, by UPI, card, net banking or wallet through Razorpay, so nobody is asked for money at the door. There is no cash on delivery.

For a work gift, keep it neutral: the Floral Candle Duo, two peony-shaped candles for Rs 649, or a single Spiral Pillar Candle at Rs 179 for someone with a plain desk at home.

When a candle breaks on the long trip south

We pack every order to travel, but candles are fragile and Hyderabad is a long courier route from Jalandhar. Open the box the day it arrives. If anything is damaged, tell us within 24 hours of delivery at maharani@raajkosh.com or on WhatsApp at +91 85958 24586, with a photo, and we will replace or refund it. Refunds go through within 5 to 7 working days of approval. You can cancel free before dispatch.

We are a new, small brand with no reviews on the site yet. Our page on who makes our candles shows how to check us before you pay.

Deepams on a balcony or a pooja shelf

Trim the wick to about 5 mm, place each candle on a stable, heat-proof plate away from curtains and the ceiling fan's draught, never leave one burning unattended, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
