Personal to a marriage, not just to her

A wife has been given flowers, chocolates and a photo frame before. We reply with what is possible, a timeline and a price. We do not engrave, print photos or make jewellery, which many wives will prefer for a milestone. Be honest with yourself about that.

Three kinds of detail she will notice

The wedding colour. Find a photo of her wedding outfit: deep red, maroon, pastel pink, ivory and gold. Send it with the enquiry. A candle in that exact shade, months or years later, is the detail she will catch first.

Your date, written your way. On the tag: "Since 14.02.2019", or "Seven pheras, seven years". Initials work too: "P and R".

A scent from your story. The flower in her wedding garland (mogra, rajnigandha, rose), or the perfume she wore when you met. Custom fragrance is by enquiry. Our only scented shop candle is Vanilla Reverie.

Custom piece, or a shop piece with a long note?

If your occasion is weeks away, the custom route lets you get the wedding colour and the date on the tag. Give us as much time as you can; we confirm the timeline in our reply and never promise it on a page.

If it is next week, order a shop piece and put the personal part in the gift note. A note can hold more than a tag: two or three sentences about why you chose it. Shop orders dispatch in 24 to 48 hours and arrive 2 to 7 days after dispatch. Check the delivery estimate for your pincode, or have it delivered to your office so it stays a surprise.

A chest of small things, with one message

Some husbands build a small box rather than one gift. The gift chest builder takes 3 to 6 pieces from any chamber, then a chest style, a ribbon and your personal message. With 4 or more pieces, the pieces are 10% off; the builder shows the full price before checkout.

When jewellery or a photo book is the better choice

For a 10th or 25th anniversary, many wives would rather have gold, a name pendant, an engraved ring, or a printed photo book of your years together. Jewellers, engravers and photo-book printers do these well. A candle can go alongside; it should not replace the gift she is hoping for.

Payment, returns, and the bedroom rule

Prepaid only: UPI, card, net banking or wallet; no cash on delivery. Shop orders: request a return within 24 hours of delivery. Personalised pieces cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or wrong.

In a bedroom, keep a lit candle away from curtains and bedding, never fall asleep with it burning, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
