This Diwali, or next Diwali: be honest about the calendar first

Our site banner says "Order by 4 November for Diwali delivery". That cut-off is for shop pieces, which dispatch in 24 to 48 hours. A custom piece is made after we agree the details with you, so if you are reading this in the last days before Diwali, a fully custom candle may not reach in time. Send the enquiry anyway and we will tell you plainly what we can make and when; otherwise, use the ready-piece route below, and plan custom for Bhai Dooj, a wedding later in the season, or Diwali 2027.

What we can personalise for Diwali

Raajkosh hand-pours soy wax candles in Jalandhar. By enquiry on our custom orders page:

• A family name on each gift tag: "Shubh Deepavali, Bansal parivaar".
• Colours for your own home's decor or a theme across every gift: red and gold, all terracotta, ivory and mint.
• A short message across many tags if you are sending to twenty relatives at once.

We reply with what is possible, a timeline and a price. We do not engrave, print photos or stamp names into the wax.

Ready Diwali pieces you can name with a gift note

Write the family's name in the gift note at checkout; that is the quickest form of personalisation.

Giving to many families: what it adds up to

The searcher for customised Diwali gifts is often the one person in the family who sends to every relative. At today's shop prices:

• Diya Candles for 10 families: Rs 4,490.
• Diya Candles for 20 families: Rs 8,980.
• Matki Candles for 10 families: Rs 5,990.

Each order of Rs 999 or more ships free. If you are buying for 10 or more as a business, with a logo rather than a family name, use our corporate gifting page for a quote instead.

A Diwali gift that is personal without a custom order

• Choose by the house. Diyas for the family that does a full Lakshmi puja; the Urli Candles for the family that decorates the entrance; the Shankh Candle for the grandparents who do aarti every morning.
• One line per family on the note. "For the best rangoli in Model Town" is more personal than any printed name.
• Send it to their door. We deliver across India, so relatives in other cities get it at home.

For gift ideas by relation rather than by personalisation, see our page of Diwali gift ideas for relatives.

What other Diwali gifts do better

If the family expects mithai or dry fruits, a sweet shop near them will do it fresher and faster than any courier. Photo frames with the family's picture, engraved silver coins and printed cushions come from photo-print sites and jewellers. We make the diyas and candles; we do not try to replace the box of kaju katli.

Paying, returns and a safe puja

Prepaid only, by UPI, card, net banking or wallet; there is no cash on delivery. Check the delivery estimate for each pincode on the product page; we never promise a date beyond the site's own cut-off line. Shop orders can be returned on a request within 24 hours of delivery; personalised pieces cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or wrong.

On Diwali night: diyas on a stable, heat-proof plate, not on the rangoli edge where a lehenga can brush them, never unattended, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
