Diwali gifts for corporate clients in India: five kinds that work, how to match them to the client, and our handmade picks
Good Diwali gifts for corporate clients are ones the client's family can use on Diwali night or keep for years: a gourmet box, a brass or silver-finish piece, a premium tea set, or a handmade diya, urli or shankh. From Raajkosh: the Shankh Candle (Rs 799), Urli Candles (Rs 699 a pair) and a two-piece box such as Shankh and Diya Candles (Rs 1,248), with your logo on the card or a wax seal.

Five Diwali gifts clients actually remember
Your client will receive many Diwali gifts in the same week, most of them dry fruits and sweets. The ones they remember are used at home on the night or kept after. Five kinds that work for business clients:
- A gourmet or artisanal food box from a specialty food brand. Safe for almost everyone, but it competes with every other box on the reception desk.
- A brass, copper or silver-finish piece such as a diya, a bell or a puja plate, from heritage craft sellers. Long-lasting and auspicious.
- A premium tea or coffee set for clients who are known to prefer it.
- A desk or tech accessory for clients who do not celebrate Diwali at home. Better saved for New Year.
- A handmade Diwali candle piece that lights up their home on the night. From Raajkosh, hand-poured in Jalandhar: the Shankh Candle at Rs 799, Urli Candles at Rs 699 a pair, or Diya Candles, six wax diyas, at Rs 449.
Matching the Diwali gift to the client
A client gift goes to a person and, at Diwali, to their family. Three things decide what fits:
- Their gift policy. Many companies cap the value of gifts their staff may accept, and some ask for gifts to go to the office, not the home. Ask the account manager before you buy. A modest, well-made piece is safer than an expensive one.
- Office or home. If the gift goes to the office, choose something that sits well on a desk or travels home in a bag. If it goes to the home, choose something for the family: diyas, an urli for the entrance, a shankh for the mandir.
- How close the relationship is. A new client gets a thoughtful single piece; a ten-year client gets a box.

How the card and the brand should look
A client gift that looks like advertising is quietly put aside. Put your logo on the note card or a wax seal on the box, and write two lines in the account owner's own words: what you did together this year, and a Diwali wish for their family. Sign it by hand if you can. The candle itself stays unprinted.
Ordering client gifts from us
- From 10 gifts, no minimum order value. Under 10, order from the shop and add a gift note.
- Logo on the gift tag, note card or a wax seal, confirmed in the quote.
- GST invoice in your company's billing name, address and GSTIN.
- Delivery to one office or to every client address on your list, across India.
- Prepaid, as set out in the quote.
All terms are on our corporate answer page. On timing: our site currently says "Order by 4 November for Diwali delivery" for shop orders; a branded order's timeline is confirmed in the quote.
When a candle is the wrong client gift
Choose something else if the client does not celebrate Diwali (save the gift for New Year), if their office has a no-flame rule and the gift is going there, or if you need a guaranteed delivery date that our quote cannot confirm. We are new to corporate gifting and have no client list or reviews to show; the products and terms are on the site for you to check.
