Candles in Bangalore: ordering handmade soy candles online, with honest delivery times

Can you get Raajkosh candles in Bangalore?

Yes, by delivery. We are a small workshop in Jalandhar, Punjab, and we do not have a shop or stockist in Bangalore. You order on raajkosh.com, we hand-pour and pack the candles, and a courier brings them to your door anywhere in the city, from Whitefield to Kengeri.

What that means in practice:

• Dispatch: 24 to 48 hours after you order.
• Delivery: 2 to 7 days after dispatch. Bangalore is a long way from Punjab, so plan for the later part of that range and check the estimate for your pincode on the product page.
• Shipping: free on orders of Rs 999 or more; Rs 79 below that.
• Payment: prepaid only, by UPI, card, net banking or wallet through Razorpay. No cash on delivery.

If you need a candle tonight, a local shop is the right answer, and we say a bit more about that below.

What Bangalore homes tend to buy from us

For Deepavali. Deepavali is on Sunday 8 November 2026. For the doorway, balcony and pooja room, our Diya Candles are Rs 449 for 6 soy wax candles in terracotta-red diyas with a carved lattice rim. Ready to light, no oil to spill on the floor or the tiles. For the mandir, the Lotus Candle is Rs 349. Since delivery from Jalandhar takes time, order as early as you can and check your pincode estimate; we cannot promise a date.

For an apartment balcony or a small flat. Tealights in clear cups sit neatly on a narrow balcony ledge or a window. Sunflower Tealights are Rs 449 for 10. Keep them away from the breeze and from any curtains.

For gifting a friend or colleague in the city. You can send straight to their address with gift packaging and a note. Vanilla Reverie, our only scented candle, is Rs 549 in an amber glass jar. For a table, the Spiral Pillar Candles set of five is Rs 799.

Picks for a Bangalore order

Two combinations that cross the free shipping line: Diya Candles plus Urli Candles is Rs 449 + Rs 699 = Rs 1,148; three packs of tealights is 3 x Rs 449 = Rs 1,347.

Buying from a shop in Bangalore instead

Bangalore has plenty of places to buy candles in person: home decor stores in malls, large home furnishing chains, supermarkets for plain tealights, and weekend flea markets and pop-ups where local makers sell handmade candles. Go to a shop when:

• you need the candles today or tomorrow;
• you want to smell scented candles before buying, since we make only one scent;
• you need large quantities of plain candles for an event.

Order from us when you want a hand-poured soy wax design you will not find on the shelf, such as a lattice diya, a lotus, an urli pair or a seashell candle, and you can wait for delivery.

Returns and damage

Candles travel a long way to Bangalore. If anything arrives damaged, tell us within 24 hours of delivery at maharani@raajkosh.com or on WhatsApp at +91 85958 24586, and we will replace or refund it. Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 working days of approval. You can cancel free of charge before dispatch.

Safety at home

Trim the wick to about 5 mm before lighting, use a stable, heat-proof surface away from curtains and ceiling fans, never leave a candle unattended, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours at most.
