When a candle is not the right mehendi favour

If the function is outdoors in the afternoon and you want something guests use on the spot (a fan, bangles, a potli), choose that. If many guests are children, candles are the wrong gift for them. If the mehendi is in a few days and the date cannot move, buy locally. And never light the candles on a crowded mehendi floor with dupattas and lehengas around; keep them on the table as decor, and let guests light them at home.
