We will be straight with you: at under Rs 200 a guest, Raajkosh has exactly one product. It is the Spiral Pillar Candle, a single twisted pillar hand-poured in pure soy wax in Jalandhar, at Rs 179 shop price. It comes in five colours (ivory, pink, blue, yellow and navy), and the twist catches the light even unlit, so it reads as decor on a shelf as much as a candle.

Everything else we make is above Rs 200. Our next pieces are the Heart Bubble Candle at Rs 249 and the single Heart Rope Candle at Rs 279. If your ceiling is firm at Rs 200, the spiral pillar is the only one to consider.

For 100 guests, double the 50-guest figure; for 200, four times. Count by family where you can: at most Indian functions one return gift goes to each household, which lowers the number a good deal. For fewer than 10, buy straight from the shop: shipping is free on orders of Rs 999 or more, and Rs 79 below. Report any damage within 24 hours of delivery. Safety line for the tag: burn on a heat-proof stand, never leave it unattended, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
