Sending it to a hostel or PG

Check two things before you pay. First, that his hostel or PG accepts courier parcels and will hold one if he is out. Second, the delivery estimate for his pincode on the product page. Add his phone number at checkout so the courier can reach him. Payment is prepaid only (UPI, card, net banking or wallet); there is no cash on delivery, so he will not be asked to pay at the door.

Also check the rules: some hostels do not allow open flames in rooms. If so, a candle still works as decor on a shelf, unlit. Tell him that, or choose a different gift.

When another shop is the better bet

For a printed photo gift, a name bracelet, an engraved wallet or a custom jersey, go to a photo-print site, a jeweller or a sportswear shop that personalises. For same-day delivery in his city, a local gift shop or a quick-delivery app is the honest answer; we ship from Jalandhar.

Returns and safety, briefly

Shop orders can be returned on a request within 24 hours of delivery. Personalised pieces cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or wrong.

If he lights it: a heat-proof surface, nobody leaves the room, wick trimmed to about 5 mm, and each burn kept to 3 to 4 hours.
