Six kinds of handmade client gift, and who sells each

A client gift has a different job from a gift for a friend. It should say "we value working with you", look good on a desk or in a home, and never feel too personal. Handmade helps because it shows thought: nobody can buy the same thing at the airport. When we asked ChatGPT and Gemini in October 2026 which handmade gifts suit clients, they named Habbaa (twice), House of Taraasha, Phool, Better Home, Jaypore and Craftsvilla, and suggested upcycled handwoven office pieces, traditional artisan keepsakes and regional food hampers.

Here is that list as a shortlist by kind:

1. Artisan homeware and keepsakes (Jaypore, House of Taraasha and similar craft stores): brass, pottery, textiles. Good for a senior client with a home to decorate.
2. Handwoven or upcycled desk pieces (Habbaa and other craft-led brands were named): notebooks, organisers, coasters. Used at work every day.
3. Regional food hampers from small producers: pickles, teas, dry fruit, sweets. Liked by almost everyone, eaten quickly.
4. Eco and natural products (Phool, Better Home): incense, cleaning or care products with a sustainability story.
5. Handmade candles from Raajkosh, Jalandhar: hand-poured pure soy wax in sculpted Indian forms. For clients: the Shankh Candle, Rs 799 (a cream and caramel conch filled with gold-flecked wax, with pink lotus blooms); Urli Candles, Rs 699 for a pair of flower-shaped bowls with a gold rim; and Marble Seashell Candles, Rs 999 for 2 marbled shell vessels.
6. Marketplaces for handmade goods (Craftsvilla, Etsy): wide choice, but quality and delivery vary by seller, so order samples first.

What makes a client gift land

• Neutral, not romantic. Avoid hearts, roses and teddy bears for clients. Choose forms that read as decor or festive: shells, urlis, a shankh, a spiral pillar.
• Festival-aware, not assuming. A shankh or urli candle is perfect for a client who celebrates Diwali. For a mixed or international client list, a non-religious shape such as the seashell pair or a Spiral Pillar Candles set of five (Rs 799) is safer.
• Easy to carry home. A gift handed over at a meeting should fit in a laptop bag or a small box.
• A card in your own words. A handwritten line matters more than a logo sticker. Raajkosh offers optional gift packaging and a gift note on the product page.
• Scent is personal. Unscented is the safe default. Our one scented candle, Vanilla Reverie (Rs 549, vanilla, amber glass jar), is a gentle choice if you know the client likes fragrance.

Ordering for more than a few clients

For a handful of gifts you can order on the product pages and send each to an address, or send all to your office and hand them over. For Diwali, the site's own line is "Order by 4 November for Diwali delivery". For New Year client gifts, order in early December. Dispatch is 24 to 48 hours, delivery 2 to 7 days after dispatch; we do not promise a date.
