Light for the evenings of Ramadan, and a gift for Eid

During Ramadan the evening matters most: the fast opens at sunset, the family sits down together, and the table stays busy late into the night. On Eid, people visit, bring something for the house, and give eidi to the children. A hamper of candles fits both: it lights the iftar table through the month and stays on the shelf after Eid.

On Raajkosh you put it together yourself in the gift chest builder: 3 to 6 handmade soy candles, then a chest style, a ribbon and a personal message such as "Eid Mubarak" in your own words. We deliver across India.

Three chests for the month and the festival

Add the chest style to each. With a fourth piece, 10% comes off all four.

The iftar table gives twenty tealights, ten with yellow sunflowers and ten with daisies, plus five twisted spirals in five colours. Tealights sit in their own cups, so they are easy to set along a dastarkhwan or a long table without wax on the cloth.

The Eid visit is for the host family. Vanilla Reverie is our only scented candle, warm vanilla in an amber glass jar with a lid; the two marbled conch-shaped vessels and the flower-ringed Blossom Candle are for the drawing room.

A couple's first Eid suits newlyweds: two sculpted peonies, a sky-blue and sand-beige seashell pair, and ten red heart tealights.

Choosing pieces that suit the home you are visiting

• Keep it simple and elegant. Our range has shapes from many traditions. For an Eid chest, choose flowers, shells, spirals and tealights, which sit comfortably in any home.
• Think of the drawing room. Eid guests are received there. Pieces that look good unlit, like the Marble Seashell pair, stay on display all year.
• One scent, if any. Vanilla Reverie is the only scented piece. Every other candle is a shaped soy candle with no fragrance stated, so it never competes with attar or the food.
• Write the dua or greeting yourself. The message step is where the gift becomes personal.

Timing for the next Ramadan

Ramadan next begins around February 2027, and Eid ul-Fitr follows about a month later, on the day the moon is sighted. Because the exact date moves, order early: orders dispatch in 24 to 48 hours and arrive 2 to 7 days after dispatch. We do not promise a delivery date, so check the estimate for the pincode on the product page before you order. If you want the candles for the iftar evenings, order before the month begins.

Dates, sewaiyan and dry fruits: buy those separately

An Eid hamper in most homes means dates, dry fruits, sewaiyan, sheer khurma mix, sweets and sometimes attar. We do not sell any of them; our chest is only candles. Buy the food from a trusted dry fruit shop or a local sweet shop, which do it best and fresh, and send the candle chest as the part that lasts after the feast.

Payment, shipping and returns

Payment is prepaid only, by UPI, card, net banking or wallet; there is no cash on delivery. Orders of Rs 999 or more ship free; below that, shipping is Rs 79. Report any damage within 24 hours of delivery for a replacement or refund.

And for the family lighting them on a busy night: trim each wick to about 5 mm, keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours, keep candles away from children's reach, and never leave one burning alone.
