Daisy candles online in India: daisy tealights in two colour sets

Daisy candles online in India

Our daisy candles are Daisy Tealights: ten soy wax tealights, each topped with a little wax daisy, for Rs 449. You choose one of two colour sets:

• Mint and ivory: fresh and light, close to a spring garden
• Purple and ivory: a little richer, closer to a lavender field

They are hand-poured in pure soy wax in our workshop in Jalandhar and delivered across India.

Why a daisy on a tealight

A plain tealight is a working candle: you light it and forget it. A daisy on top turns it into something you notice. People buy daisy candles for:

• Garden-themed parties and baby showers, scattered down a table between small flower pots
• A bedroom or study shelf, where three or four in a row look soft and cheerful
• Diwali and festive corners, if you want something less traditional than diyas
• Return gifts and colleague gifts, because ten pieces can be split into small bundles

The flower sits on top of the wax. When you light the tealight, it melts with it. Many buyers keep a few unlit as decor and light the rest.

Mint or purple?

Both packs are Rs 449. Buy one of each (Rs 898) if you want twenty tealights in a mixed palette.

Daisy, sunflower or blossom?

We make three flower candles in a similar small, cheerful style. If you like daisies, you may also like:

For a garden-party table, one pack of Daisy Tealights with one Blossom Candle in the middle (Rs 748 together) gives you a centrepiece and lights around it.

Do daisy candles have a fragrance?

Ours do not. Daisy Tealights have no fragrance added; they are made for the look. That makes them easy to use on a dining table or at a party with food. If you want a scented candle in the same room, add one jar of Vanilla Reverie (Rs 549), our only scented candle.

Where else to look: Daisy candles online in India

• Large marketplaces and Instagram candle shops for daisy candles in other forms: daisy-topped jar candles, daisy pillar candles and daisy-shaped moulded candles.
• Scented daisy candles come from fragrance-led brands. These usually carry a blended floral scent rather than the smell of a real daisy.
• Plain tealights in bulk from a local shop, if you want to fill gaps around a few decorative ones.

Lighting tealights safely

Set them on a heat-proof plate or tray on a stable surface, away from curtains, paper decorations and fresh flowers that hang over. Trim each wick to about 5 mm, never leave them burning unattended, and do not burn them for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
