Kochi gifts on Onam, Vishu and Christmas

A Kochi company's gifting calendar is not built around Diwali. Onam is the big one: the harvest festival in August or September, when offices hold pookalam contests and an Onam sadhya, and many employers give a bonus and a gift. Vishu in April, the Malayalam new year, is about the Vishukkani, the auspicious first sight of the morning arranged around a lit nilavilakku lamp. Christmas matters across the city, from the old churches of Fort Kochi to the year-end parties at Infopark. Eid and Diwali are marked too, and companies with national clients often send a Diwali gift outside Kerala.

Raajkosh is a small maker of handmade soy wax candles in Jalandhar, Punjab. We take corporate orders from 10 gifts with no minimum order value, add your logo on the gift tag, the note card or a wax seal, issue a GST invoice with your billing name, address and GSTIN, and deliver to one office or to every address on your list. We have no store or office in Kochi; every order ships from Jalandhar, and the quote confirms the timeline.

A coastal city, a coastal candle

Kochi is a port city, and its working life still runs along the water: the shipyard, the container terminal, the spice and seafood exporters, the backwater tourism trade. Our Seashell Candles, two conch-shell vessels in sky blue and sand beige topped with wax shells, pearls and gold stars, suit that city better than a festival-only piece. They make a calm client gift for a shipping or export firm and work at Christmas as well as Onam. The Marble Seashell Candles are the marbled version, for a more senior gift.

Pieces for Infopark teams and the port's offices

For a team of 40 on single Spiral Pillars, shop prices come to Rs 7,160 before branding and delivery; the quote confirms the actual figure. For a top client above Rs 999, Seashell Candles with Diya Candles come to Rs 1,348 at shop prices.

If your office or a client's building bans open flames, the gift should stay unlit as decor, or you should choose another gift.

Gifting Kochi staff who go home for Onam

Onam is when much of Kerala goes home. A Kochi employee may spend the festival with family in Thrissur, Kottayam, Kannur or Thiruvananthapuram, and a gift left at the office reaches them a week late. We can send each gift to each person's home address in the same order, or to the office in bulk if your Onam celebration is on site. Everything ships by courier from Jalandhar. We do not promise a Kochi delivery day on this page; it depends on quantity, branding and your date, and the quote confirms it. Write early for Onam: it comes before the north Indian festive rush.

Kochi order steps

1. Tell us the number of gifts, the budget per gift, the festival and date, your branding, and one address or many.
2. Get a quote with pieces, branding options, timeline and price with GST.
3. Approve and pay. Orders are prepaid, as set out in the quote; no cash on delivery.
4. Delivered with a GST invoice. Branded gifts are not returnable unless damaged, defective or wrong; report damage within 24 hours of delivery.

Onakkodi, banana chips and other Kochi gifts

Kochi companies also give the Onakkodi, new clothes for Onam, kasavu sarees and mundus, banana chips and payasam kits, spice boxes, plum cakes at Christmas, tech accessories and vouchers. Local textile shops, bakeries and hamper companies do those well and deliver within the city. A handmade candle fits when you want a gift that stays on a shelf through the year and is lit again at Christmas.
