Christmas in India is a mix: midnight mass for some, plum cake and a tree for many, an office Secret Santa for almost everyone in a city job. The gifts women get for Christmas follow that mix. Near a Christmas tree, keep candles well away from the branches, tinsel and paper decorations. Trim the wick to about 5 mm, never leave it unattended, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
