Burning one without spoiling the top

If you want to keep the pink shells and pearls for a while, display it unlit at first. When you do light it, trim the wick to about 5 mm, set it on a heat-proof surface away from towels and curtains, never leave it unattended, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
