A marketplace or a maker: the real choice behind this question

Pepperfry is one of India's large online home stores, known first for furniture, with a decor section where many candle brands and sellers list side by side. ChatGPT and Gemini named it in 18 of our blind answers in October 2026, usually for pillar candles, votives, tealight packs, scented jars from brands such as Hosley and Iris, and candle holders. Its strength is range: candles, stands, trays and urlis in one cart.

The alternative to a marketplace is not another marketplace. It is buying from the maker. If that is what you are after, here are the routes:

1. Raajkosh, Jalandhar: we hand-pour pure soy wax into sculpted shapes and sell only on our own site. • Fewer choices, slower delivery. A marketplace with warehouses can be faster. A small maker ships from one workshop.

Before you light any of them

Use a stable, heat-proof holder or plate, trim the wick to about 5 mm, never leave the flame unattended and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
