Hosley was named in 11 of our blind answers in October 2026. ChatGPT and Gemini mentioned it for scented jar candles, coloured and plain tealight packs, and gift sets, sold through hosley.in and big marketplaces such as Pepperfry and Amazon. It is an easy, widely stocked choice and good for value packs.

The usual reasons to look elsewhere: you want a handmade candle, you want a gift that looks special rather than familiar, or you want to know the wax exactly. Here are alternatives for each.

Handmade instead of mass-made

Raajkosh, Jalandhar, pours every candle by hand in pure soy wax, and lists the pack and price on each page. Swaps for a Hosley-style basket:

Lighting tealights and jars safely

Tealight cups get hot, so set them on a plate, not straight on wood. Trim wicks to about 5 mm, never leave a flame alone, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
