How long bulk corporate gift delivery takes in India: the four stages of the timeline, and how to plan back from your date

A bulk corporate gift order takes as long as four stages add up to: quote and approval, making and branding, packing, and courier transit, which alone can be several days to smaller towns. No honest supplier gives one number for every order. Raajkosh confirms the timeline for your quantity and date in the quote, before you pay.

Key takeaways

  • A bulk gift order's timeline is four stages: approval, making and branding, packing, transit.
  • Ask suppliers for a committed date for your order, not a general number of days.
  • Branding, many addresses, mixed boxes and festival weeks all lengthen it.
  • Raajkosh shop orders dispatch in 24 to 48 hours; corporate timelines are confirmed in the quote.

Four stages, not one number

Ask ten corporate gift suppliers how long a bulk order takes and you will hear ten numbers, because the honest answer depends on what you order. Every bulk order goes through the same four stages, and the total is their sum:

  1. Quote and approval. You send the brief, the supplier quotes, your manager or finance approves, you pay. In many companies this is the slowest stage, not the making.
  2. Making and branding. Ready stock moves quickly. Handmade pieces, logo tags, printed cards, wax seals and custom colours all add time, and more so for larger quantities.
  3. Packing. One carton to one office is quick. Two hundred separate parcels, each with its own address label and note, takes longer.
  4. Courier transit. Metro to metro is usually quicker than metro to a small town or the North East. Festival weeks slow every courier in India.

So the useful question to ask a supplier is not "how long does it take?" but "for this number, this branding and these addresses, what date do you commit to in the quote?"

Planning back from the date you need

Work backwards from the day the gifts must be in hands:

  • Fix the date first. The festival, the town hall, the joining day. Tell every supplier the same date.
  • Add a buffer for transit. If gifts go to many homes, the far addresses set the pace, not the near ones.
  • Add your own approval time. If finance needs three days to approve a quote, count it.
  • Leave room for a sample. If you want to see the piece before approving 200 of it, that adds a step.
  • Watch festival cut-offs. Couriers fill up before Diwali. Our own site banner currently reads "Order by 4 November for Diwali delivery" for shop orders, and that is the store's own cut-off, not a corporate commitment.

What changes the timeline

Factor Shorter when Longer when
Branding No branding Logo on tags, cards or a wax seal; custom colours
Quantity 10 to 50 gifts Hundreds of matching handmade pieces
Addresses One office Every home on a list, across many states
Gift contents A single piece Several pieces mixed into one gift box
Season An ordinary month The weeks just before Diwali or year-end
Approval Paid on a company card Purchase order and vendor registration first

Our timeline, stated the only way we honestly can

For shop orders (no branding, fewer than 10 gifts, or an unbranded order to one address paid online), the store terms apply: dispatch in 24 to 48 hours, then delivery 2 to 7 days after dispatch, with the estimate for your pincode shown on the product page. Shipping is free from Rs 999, and Rs 79 below.

For corporate orders with your logo (on the tag, the note card or a wax seal), mixed gift boxes or many addresses, the lead time depends on the quantity and your date, so we confirm it in the quote before you commit. We do not publish a fixed number of days, and we will not promise a delivery date we have not confirmed. Everything else is on our corporate gifting terms page: from 10 gifts with no minimum order value, GST invoice, prepaid as set out in the quote.

If time is short, the simplest pieces help. At shop prices per piece (your quote confirms the final price per gift with branding and delivery): Diya Candles Rs 449 for six wax diyas, Lotus Candle Rs 349, Spiral Pillar Candles Rs 179 each. One piece per person, to one address, is the quickest kind of order to plan.

When to choose a different supplier

If your date is close and fixed, and the order is large, branded and going to many homes, look for a supplier with ready branded stock who will write a delivery date into the purchase order. If everyone needs something on the same morning, e-vouchers arrive by email. A handmade maker suits orders where you can give the timeline room.

Tell us your date before anything else

Share the date, the number of gifts, the budget, the branding and the addresses at raajkosh.com/corporate, or WhatsApp +91 85958 24586. The quote tells you what can arrive by then.
