A Holi gift in the colours of the day, that lasts longer than the gulal

Most Holi gifts for employees are gone by the weekend: gujiya, thandai mix, a packet of herbal colour. If you want something from the company that stays, give a gift in Holi's colours that goes on a shelf at home. Our pastel and multi-colour candles do that, and they suit teams where not everyone plays Holi, because they read as colour, not ritual.

Raajkosh makes hand-poured soy wax candles in Jalandhar. Holi is one of the festivals our corporate page covers. From 10 gifts we add your logo on the gift tag, the note card or a wax seal, raise a GST invoice, and deliver to one office or every home. Ask at raajkosh.com/corporate.

The Spiral Pillar set is the most Holi-like thing we make: five colours in one box, like a thali of gulal. The Braided Candles are the softer version. Diya Candles suit families who keep a diya at the Holika Dahan puja the night before. All five are decorative candles with no stated fragrance.

Choosing for a Holi office

Teams that play Holi at the office party. Hand the gifts out before the colour starts, or better, send them to homes. A gift box covered in colour and water is not a good look for the brand.

Mixed teams. Holi is a north Indian festival first. In a team spread across cities, call it a spring gift on the card, and choose the Spiral Pillar set or the Blossom Candle, which say "colour" without saying "puja".

Budgets. Under Rs 500: the Blossom Candle or Daisy Tealights. Rs 500 to Rs 999: the Spiral Pillar set or the Braided Candles. For a gift box above Rs 1,000, two pieces together: the Braided Candles and the Blossom Candle come to Rs 1,148 at today's shop prices.

Offices that ban open flames. These go home. The spirals and braids look finished unlit, so they can sit on a desk as colour.

Plan for the date. Holi moves each year with the lunar calendar. The lead time depends on the quantity and your date, and we confirm it in the quote; send the enquiry a few weeks before.

What else companies give at Holi

The usual Holi gift box is food and colour: gujiya and other mithai, thandai, namkeen, and a set of herbal or organic gulal. Some companies add a white kurta or T-shirt for the office Holi party. These are welcome and expected. A handmade candle works alongside them as the part of the gift that stays after the festival. We do not make sweets or colours; many companies order those from a local sweet shop and add our candles to the box.

How a Holi order works

1. Tell us the number of gifts (from 10, no minimum order value), budget per gift, the date, branding, and one address or many.
2. We send a quote with the pieces, branding options, timeline and price with GST.
3. Approve and pay. Orders are prepaid, as set out in the quote.
4. Delivered with a GST invoice in your company's name.

For fewer than 10 gifts, order from the shop; shipping is free from Rs 999. Branded gifts cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective or wrong; report damage within 24 hours of delivery for a replacement or refund.

If lit at home: keep it on a heat-proof surface, never leave it unattended, and keep each burn to 3 to 4 hours.
