- Pure soy wax. Our candles are poured in pure soy wax. Soy wax is made from soybean oil, a plant source, rather than from paraffin, which comes from petroleum. That is the main material difference from the cheapest candles on the market.
- Handmade in small batches in Jalandhar, Punjab, by a small team, not in a factory.

What is the packaging? Ask for the materials in writing before you print "sustainable" on the card.

How far does it travel? A gift made and delivered within India travels less than an imported one.
Is the claim checkable? If a supplier says "eco-friendly" with no detail, ask what they mean.
