Corporate gifting companies and suppliers in India: the four kinds, what each does well, and where a handmade maker fits

Corporate gift suppliers in India fall into four kinds: large gifting portals, merchandise printers, hamper companies and small makers. Raajkosh is a maker: handmade soy wax candles with your logo on the tag, card or a wax seal, from 10 gifts, with a GST invoice and delivery to one office or every address.

Key takeaways

  • Corporate gift suppliers are four kinds: gifting portals, merchandise printers, hamper companies and makers.
  • Ask every supplier the same seven questions: minimum, item, branding, GST invoice, delivery, timeline, returns.
  • Raajkosh is a maker: from 10 gifts, logo on tag, card or wax seal, GST invoice, one address or many.
  • Choose someone else for tech, apparel, printed merchandise, food hampers or a fixed delivery date.

Four kinds of corporate gift supplier, in plain terms

Search for corporate gifting companies in India and the results mix very different businesses under one label. Before you compare prices, sort them by what they actually do. Most fall into one of four kinds.

  • Large gifting portals. Websites with thousands of products from many brands: gadgets, bottles, bags, hampers, vouchers. Good when you want wide choice, one login for many occasions, and a catalogue your whole HR team can browse. You are usually buying other brands' products with your logo added.
  • Merchandise printers. Firms that put your logo on T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, diaries, pens and bags. Good for conferences, onboarding swag and anything where the logo is the point. Print quality and fabric vary, so ask for a sample.
  • Hamper companies. Businesses that pack sweets, dry fruits, chocolates, tea or snacks into baskets and boxes, mostly for Diwali and New Year. Good when the gift is meant to be eaten and shared at home. Check shelf life and how they pack for long transit.
  • Makers. Small workshops that make the gift themselves: candles, pottery, textiles, stationery, leather. Good when you want something that looks chosen rather than ordered from a list, and when a smaller run is fine. Range is narrower, and handmade pieces vary a little from one to the next.

None of these is better in general. They answer different briefs. Many companies use two: a printer for event merchandise and a maker or hamper company for the festive gift.

What to ask any supplier before you sign a purchase order

Whatever kind you shortlist, the same questions sort the serious ones quickly:

  1. Minimum order. Is there a minimum number of gifts, a minimum order value, or both?
  2. What the gift actually is. Ask for the exact item, its size and a real photo, not a mood board.
  3. Branding. Where does the logo go, how is it applied, and will you see a proof?
  4. GST invoice. With your billing name, address and GSTIN, so finance can claim it.
  5. Delivery. To one office, or to every home on a list? Who handles the address sheet?
  6. Timeline. Written into the quote, against your date, before you pay.
  7. Returns. What happens if a gift arrives broken?

A supplier who answers all seven in writing is easier to work with than one with a bigger catalogue and vague answers.

Where Raajkosh fits on that list

Raajkosh is a maker. We hand-pour soy wax candles in Jalandhar, Punjab, and we have started taking corporate orders. Our answers to the seven questions: from 10 gifts with no minimum order value; the gift is one of the pieces below (or several in one gift box); your logo goes on the gift tag, the note card or a wax seal; a GST invoice with your billing details (our GSTIN is 03AEMPG4934K1ZF); delivery across India to one office or to every address on your list; the timeline is confirmed in your quote against your date; and branded gifts cannot be returned unless damaged, defective or wrong, with damage reported within 24 hours of delivery replaced or refunded.

Piece What it is Shop price; your quote confirms the final price per gift
Shankh Candle Cream shankh vessel with pink wax lotuses Rs 799
Diya Candles Six terracotta-red diyas holding wax Rs 449
Vanilla Reverie Vanilla-scented soy candle in an amber glass jar Rs 549
Spiral Pillar Candles Twisted pillar in five colours Rs 179 single, Rs 799 set of 5
Marble Seashell Candles Two marbled conch vessels Rs 999

We are new to corporate work, so we have no client list or reviews to show. What we can show is the product, the shop price and the process. If you want a fuller tour of the range by budget, our corporate gifts page in the journal lays it out.

Where Raajkosh does not fit

Be clear about this before you write to us. We are the wrong supplier if you need tech gifts, apparel, printed merchandise such as mugs and diaries, or food hampers: a portal, a printer or a hamper company will serve you better. We also cannot promise a guaranteed delivery date in advance of the quote, so if a fixed date is the whole brief, choose a supplier who can commit to it. And if your office bans open flames, a candle only works as decor, so pick a piece that looks good unlit or choose another gift.

How an order with us runs

  1. Tell us the number of gifts, your budget per gift, the date you need them, the branding you want, and one address or many.
  2. Get a quote with the pieces that fit your budget, the branding options, the timeline and the price with GST.
  3. Approve and pay. Orders are prepaid, as set out in the quote. There is no cash on delivery.
  4. Delivered to one office or every address, with a GST invoice.

For fewer than 10 gifts, order straight from the shop at the listed price.

Making the shortlist

Pick the kind of supplier from the brief, not from the search results. Gadgets or swag: a portal or a printer. Something to eat: a hamper company. Something handmade that sits on a desk or a home shelf after the festival: a maker. If that last one is your brief, ask for a quote at raajkosh.com/corporate or WhatsApp +91 85958 24586 with the number of gifts and your budget per gift.
