A return gift is bought by the number of guests, so start with the price per piece. These are the candles from our range that work as a single-piece return gift, each hand-poured in pure soy wax in Jalandhar:

Match the candle to the function

A puja, katha or griha pravesh

Guests at a religious function appreciate something they can keep in their own mandir. The Lotus Candle (green with a red bloom, or all coral pink) is the most fitting piece, and it looks complete without a box. If you have more guests and a tighter budget, a pack of Diya Candles (Rs 449 for 6) can be split into twos and tied in small potlis.

A baby shower (godh bharai) or a child's birthday

Soft and cute works here. The Heart Bubble Candle in white or light blue is Rs 249 and sits nicely in a small gift bag.

Engagement, roka or bridal shower

Hearts fit the mood. Heart Rope Candles in taupe, butter yellow, sage green and dusty pink can be mixed so each guest gets a different colour. The set of 4 is Rs 999, which is cheaper per piece than four singles (4 x Rs 279 = Rs 1,116).

Kitty party, office or a general "thank you"

The Spiral Pillar Candle at Rs 179 is our lowest price. Buy a mix of ivory, pink, blue, yellow and navy; the set of 5 is Rs 799, saving Rs 96 against five singles.

How many guests can we serve?

We are a small handmade brand, not a wholesaler. Our packs and singles work well for about 10 to 30 guests. If you need 30 or more of one piece, message us on WhatsApp at +91 85958 24586 before ordering so we can check stock. We do not offer a bulk price.

For 100 or more guests, a wholesale candle supplier or a return-gift shop will suit you better.

Making a candle return gift look finished

• A small potli or kraft bag with a tag that has the guest's name or the occasion.
• A one-line card: "Thank you for being part of our griha pravesh."
• Mix colours rather than giving everyone the same one, so guests compare and swap.
• Our optional gift packaging and gift note are set per product on the product page; for many pieces, your own potlis are simpler.

Other return-gift options people consider

• Return-gift shops and marketplaces sell ready-packed sets (diyas, small idols, potlis) by the dozen, often cheaper per piece.
• Scented votives are popular at weddings; we have one scented candle, Vanilla Reverie (Rs 549), which is better as a single gift than a return gift.
• Personalised candles with names and dates come from custom studios. We do not personalise.

How ordering works

We dispatch in 24 to 48 hours; delivery takes 2 to 7 days after dispatch anywhere in India. Order well before the function and check the estimate for your pincode; we cannot promise a date. Payment is prepaid only (UPI, card, net banking or wallet via Razorpay), with no cash on delivery. If anything arrives damaged, report it within 24 hours of delivery for a replacement or refund.

A safety line for the tag

It is kind to add one line to the card: never leave a burning candle unattended, trim the wick to about 5 mm, and burn on a heat-proof surface for no more than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
