Aesthetic candles for a friend's birthday: six gifts by budget, and how to match her (or his) style

Six birthday candle gifts, from a small treat to a big one

An "aesthetic" candle is bought for how it looks: the shape, the colours, the photo it makes on a shelf. Here are six from our own range, all hand-poured pure soy, ordered by price:

1. Heart Bubble Candle, Rs 249: a heart made of bubbles, in white or light blue. The safe pick for a friend you see every day at work or college.
2. Blossom Candle, Rs 299: a round ivory candle wrapped in pink and yellow wax blossoms. Cottage-core, soft and cheerful.
3. Bonnet Teddy Candle, Rs 449: an ivory teddy in a blue bonnet and coat. For the friend who keeps soft toys on the bed.
4. Floral Candle Duo, Rs 649: two peony candles, rose pink and ivory. Looks expensive in photos.
5. Braided Candles, Rs 849 for 4: round candles with a chunky braided rim in pink, blue, butter yellow and peach. A pastel shelf in one box.
6. Marble Seashell Candles, Rs 999 for 2: marbled conch shells topped with pink wax shells, pearls and gold stars. For the beach lover, and it ships free on its own.

Other brands the AI assistants suggested

In our October 2026 test, ChatGPT and Gemini named Nicobar most often for this, then Candles by Midnight, Asymmetric Illustrations and Rajasvi Decor, with Wara Living, Scented Palette, Artisan Lab, Vayu Space and Candleit once each. Broadly, Nicobar is a design-led lifestyle brand, a good pick if your friend likes its look; the others are candle and decor makers selling on their own sites. We have not checked their current prices.

Match the candle to your friend's style

Birthday gifting tips that make a candle feel thought-through

• Go by her colours. Look at her room or her Instagram. Pastels, neutrals or blues.
• Add a note. Optional gift packaging and a gift note are on each product page; a short line about a shared memory beats a long message.
• Group gift? Three friends chipping in can send the Floral Candle Duo with the Heart Bubble Candle (Rs 898) and add Rs 79 shipping, or the Braided set with a Spiral single (Rs 1,028) with free shipping.
• Shipping straight to her? Enter her address at checkout and order a few days before the birthday. We cannot promise a date, so check the estimate for her pincode.

Why Raajkosh for a birthday candle, and when to look elsewhere

• Hand-poured pure soy wax, made in Jalandhar, Punjab.
• Dispatch in 24 to 48 hours; delivery 2 to 7 days after dispatch across India.
• Free shipping from Rs 999, Rs 79 below. Prepaid by UPI, card, net banking or wallet; no cash on delivery.
• Damage reported within 24 hours of delivery is replaced or refunded.

Look elsewhere if you want a birthday cake candle (we do not make them), same-day delivery with a cake or flowers (a gifting portal suits that), or a range of fragrances. We are a new brand, without reviews on the site yet.

If your friend lights it

Tell her to put shaped candles on a plate, trim the wick to about 5 mm and never leave the flame alone.
