Teddy candles online in India: two handmade teddy bear candles for gifting, with prices

Our two teddy bear candles

We make two teddy bear candles, both hand-poured in pure soy wax in Jalandhar:

• Teddy Gift Candle: Rs 599 (MRP Rs 749). An ivory teddy with a pink bow, peeking out of a gift box ringed with pink roses and tied with a ribbon.
• Bonnet Teddy Candle: Rs 449 (MRP Rs 549). An ivory teddy dressed in a blue bonnet and coat with a little bow.

Both are made to be looked at as much as lit. Most people who buy a teddy candle keep it on a shelf as a keepsake.

Which teddy to pick

The simple rule: pink and roses say "I love you"; the blue bonnet says "this made me think of you".

When people buy teddy candles

• Teddy Day (10 February) and Valentine's week. The Teddy Gift Candle is the natural pick, because it already looks like a wrapped present.
• Birthdays. A teddy candle next to the cake, or as the gift itself for someone who likes cute things.
• Anniversaries, paired with heart candles for a set-up at home.
• Baby showers and a new baby visit. The Bonnet Teddy suits the theme. Give it to the parents as a nursery shelf piece, with a clear note that it is for display, and that a lit candle should never be near a baby or toddler.
• Just because. A cheerful desk or shelf piece for a friend who is having a hard week.

Building a gift around a teddy candle

• Teddy and hearts: Teddy Gift Candle with a pack of ten red Heart Tealights (Rs 349) is Rs 948. Light the hearts, keep the teddy.
• Two teddies: both bears together are Rs 599 + Rs 449 = Rs 1,048, which ships free.
• Teddy and flowers: Bonnet Teddy Candle with the Floral Candle Duo (Rs 649, two peony-shaped candles) is Rs 1,098, also free shipping.

Add gift packaging and a gift note on the product page so it arrives ready to hand over.

Light it or keep it?

You can light a teddy candle; it has a wick and is pure soy wax. But a shaped candle changes shape as it burns: the face and bow melt first. If the person will love it as a keepsake, tell them to keep it unlit and display it away from direct sun and heat so the colours and details stay crisp. If you want something to light, pair the teddy with tealights and let the teddy stay whole.

Where else to look: Teddy candles online in India

• Mini teddy candles in bulk for return gifts or party favours: craft sellers and wholesale portals sell small moulded teddies by the dozen.
• Scented teddy candles: some marketplace sellers offer these. Our teddies are decorative and have no fragrance listed.
• Soft toy teddies: if the person wants a cuddly teddy, a toy shop is the right place. A candle is a decor gift, not a toy.
• Personalised teddy candles with a name: custom candle makers. We do not personalise these two designs.
